ME

Passionate About Inspiring Others

I am a qualified pre-accredited therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with an Undergraduate degree achieved in Social Care Studies. I have a diverse international work history which has provided me with an open-minded and non-judgmental view towards people and their experiences.​

I understand that life can provide immense challenge and working together to overcome this is one of my passions. I regard empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard as crucial for the development of this alliance towards battling life's challenges.

My approach to therapy has its foundations based on emphasizing the development of the therapeutic relationship; building the connection between counsellor and client. On top of the foundations I would implement some solution focused therapy along with CBT and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

I have also completed LivingWorks Start Suicide prevention as well as HSE Children first training. I also regularly attend clinical supervision as part of ongoing growth. I am a member of the National Association for Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy which means I am governed by their code of ethics.
